MY RESEARCH INTERESTS
 

Bridging the Material Gap between Industrial Catalysis and Surface Science

Fundamental aspects of catalysis were explored on ideal single crystals under ideal conditions. However, industrial catalysis occur on complex catalyst materials at much severe conditions (high pressure/temperature). We ventured into making thin films of complex materials and the same is being studied for catalysis aspects under relevant conditions in cutting edge tools, like ambient pressure photoelectron spectrometer (APPES), molecular beam instrument.
